Great family, beautiful home, what a great place to stay in such a lovely setting. We made a call on the day of our stay, a last minute booking, and they were able to take us thankfully. Warm welcome and met the family. Lots of history and they’ve done a great job on the Georgian house.

Stayed at Woodvilla Lodge for a family holiday in the summer. A lovely place to base yourself, walking distance to Bridgetown with its shops and pubs, the Centra is so convenient and they sell pretty much everything you might need. Austin and Julie were lovely, so helpful and welcoming. Will definitely be back next time we are over.

I stayed at Woodvilla Lodge with six of my girlfriends, and we honestly had the best time! The house is gorgeous — immaculately clean, spacious, beautiful decor and so comfortable. It had everything we needed and more, and we could tell straight away how much thought and care has gone into making it such a welcoming place.

The setting is lovely and peaceful, surrounded by the countryside, but still really close to Kilmore Quay and Wexford town. Ballyhealy beach is very close by in Kilmore Village & Rosslare Starnd is no more than a 20 minute drive away.
The hosts, Julie & Austin were absolutely brilliant — so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They made us feel completely at home and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect.

We all said we’d go back in a heartbeat and indeed we have reserved for next year. If you’re planning a weekend away with friends or family, Woodvilla Lodge is a total gem — can’t recommend it highly enough!

Our family has been coming to Woodvilla Lodge for several years now and we all absolutely adore it!
Austin and Julie are such welcoming hosts and so lovely to chat with. There are plenty of rooms and the garden is wonderful - the kids go wild playing in it!
The house is a 10min drive to Kilmore Quay
- we’d highly recommend the new Saltee Sauna beside the beach, with a visit afterwards to one of the lovely cafes opposite or The Hidden Gem gift shop.
Already looking forward to returning next year 😊

Booked a weekend away for a family 60th to this excellent venue. House comfortably sleeps 11. Three bathrooms (one en-suite). Well equipped kitchen with decent fridge/ freezer.

House is clean and well decorated, seating and beds are comfy. Beautiful garden with play area for kids, external seating and large gas BBQ.

Close to shops/pubs/restaurants in Bridgetown and Kilmore /Kilmore Quay.

Mary Barry's restaurant runs a courtesy shuttle bus.

If you are looking for a spot to stay with your family - look no further. Endless outdoor fun for the kids. Will be coming back for another visit in the future for sure. Top COASTAL Destination

Wexford has long been a top tourist destination in Ireland. Known as the “sunny southeast”, County Wexford has much to offer visitors and lots to explore!

County Wexford has much to offer everyone from young to old. From long sandy beaches, to towns steeped in heritage and history, to gardens, arts & crafts and a multitude of activities. For the adventurous there are outdoor pursuits, water sports, diverse walking trails and cycling routes. More information on all that Wexford has to offer can be found on VisitWexford.ie

Locally there are many nearby visitor attractions such as Johnstown Castle, the Irish National Heritage Park and Hook Head Lighthouse. On our doorstep is the picturesque fishing village of Kilmore Quay. This quaint village is a hive of activity in the summer months. A trip to the Saltee Islands is a must!

Wexford beaches are up there with the best of them. Water sports are popular in the area, particularly sea angling. Away from the coast, there many other activities available too. These include but are not limited to golf, horse-riding, open farms, hiking and world-renowned spas.

During the summer months Wexford comes alive with festivals and outdoor events. Locally the Kilmore Quay Seafood Festival is a weekend of great fun for all the family in the beginning of July. There are many other events on throughout the summer as well
